Trip Itinerary and Additional Information
Day 1: ✈️ US - Night on Board
Depart from your US airport and board your flight to Beijing.
Overnight on board.
Note: If your flight departs before 4:00 a.m., arrive at the airport the night before.
Day 2: 🏙 Arrive in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, China's capital, known for its ancient sites like the Forbidden City and proximity to the Great Wall. Transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Beijing.
Accommodation:
Jinjiang Fuyuan Hotel or similar.
Day 3: 🏯 Beijing City Tour
After breakfast, tour the Temple of Heaven, a religious complex used by ancient emperors. Visit a Chinese Medicine Center and, in your free time, consider an optional Hutong tour*.
Overnight in Beijing.
Optional: Hutong Tour & Lama Temple by rickshaw.
Note: Excursions may be rescheduled due to weather or political events.
Day 4: 🏰 Explore Beijing at Leisure
Enjoy breakfast, then spend the day exploring Beijing at your own pace or take an optional Forbidden City and Summer Palace tour*.
Overnight in Beijing.
Optional: Full-day tour of Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and a Peking Duck dinner.
Day 5: 🏞 Great Wall & Olympic Park
Visit the Juyongguan section of the Great Wall of China after breakfast. On the way, stop at a Jade exhibition. Afterward, see the Olympic Park, including the Bird's Nest Stadium and Water Cube Aquatics Centre.
Overnight in Beijing.
Optional: Golden Mask Dynasty Show, a cultural performance.
Day 6: 🚄 Beijing - Xi’an
After breakfast, transfer to the train station for a bullet train ride to Xi’an. Spend the rest of the day exploring at leisure or join an optional night tour.
Overnight in Xi'an.
Optional: Evening tour of Wild Goose Pagoda and The Grand Tang Mall.
Day 7: 🏺 Terracotta Warriors
Discover the Terracotta Warriors Museum, showcasing 8,000 figures buried with the first emperor of China. Then, visit Xi’an’s Great Mosque and the Muslim Quarter to try local street food.
Overnight in Xi'an.
Optional: Tang Dynasty Show with a dumpling banquet dinner.
Day 8: 🚄 Xi'an - Shanghai
Transfer to the station for a high-speed train to Shanghai. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening exploring this modern metropolis.

Day 9: 🏙 Shanghai City Tour
Tour The Bund, Old Bazaars, and the Shanghai Historical Museum. Visit a silk showroom to learn about the history of silk.
Overnight in Shanghai.
Optional: Chinese Acrobatic Show (available on weekends).
Day 10: 🚤 Optional Tour of Suzhou
Enjoy the day at leisure in Shanghai or opt for a full-day tour of Suzhou’s Gardens and Canals.

Optional: Suzhou Gardens & Boat Tour.
Day 11: ✈️ Shanghai - Night on Board
After breakfast*, transfer to the airport for your flight back to the US.
